Save The Date

If my wedding checklist is correct then the next job on my list is to think about save the date cards. Now according to the stationary guru Kathryn Deeley, save the dates are essential if you plan to get married at certain times of year when people might otherwise be on holiday. As we're hoping to get married on Easter Saturday we're going to send out save the dates just a little under a year in advance to give people the heads up early and allow loads of time for my family and friends to book their flights.

I'm quite excited about the prospect of getting stuck into my first big DIY project of the wedding. The internet is full of funky ideas for save the dates so if you've got the time and the patience to DIY it, get your camera out and get creative! You can even follow the latest trend of making save the date fridge magnets with magnetic photo paper.

If printing, cutting, folding, sticking and gluing several hundreds of pieces of paper isn't your idea of a fun weekend then maybe its best to leave the stationary to the professionals. Check out Kathryn Deeley's beautiful handcrafted designs. Choose from either one of her Designer Collection or work with Kathryn to custom design your own Bespoke Range
