Well ok, not so much the braces...but I have to say I'm loving some of the belted style wedding dresses around at the moment. If you're looking for a more on-trend look but don't want something completely out there, then belts and sashes can bring a modern twist to a traditional dress. For a glamorous 50's inspired look try this Stephanie Allin wide-belted dress (left below) which believe it or not has pockets! Now thats a novel idea! The black lace band on this Littlewoods dress (right below) gives it a subtle vintage feel.
